2019 IEEE Circuits and Systems Regional Chapter-of-the-Year Awards: Region 8

The Spain Chapter of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society has been selected to receive the 2019 IEEE Circuits and Systems Regional Chapter-of-the-Year Awards: Region 8.  The awards ceremony was  held in Sapporo (Japan)  on May 28th, during the celebration of the  IEEE CASS flagship conference, ISCAS 2019.  Prof. Jose Manuel De la Rosa, past Chapter chair, received the award on behalf of the current chair.

 

The Award is intended to recognize the outstanding performance of Region 8 Technical Chapters in serving their members and the technical community and establishing goodwill within and between the Region 8 Sections.  The selection is based on outstanding performance of the nominated chapter, reflected by the completed nomination form and supporting documents. In selecting award recipients, the relevant awards ad hoc committee considers contributions of the nominee to chapter activities.

 

Congratutations to all the Spain Chapter members for the outstanding accomplishments that have led to this recognition.
