DCIS'2023 Hackathon

The first DCIS Hackathon proposed a challenge to be tackled during the DCIS’23 conference.  All students attending the conference were encouraged to participate in the hackathon. The teams had to implement a system to measure the success of a session at the conference using a Nucleo STM32 board and several sensors and LEDs.

Five teams participated, and a committee evaluated the best solutions proposed by them based on:

  • Degree of achievement of the different tasks
  • Creativity.
  • Correct operation of each task.
  • Quality of presentation

It was difficult to decide the winners. In the end, two teams got the prizes (150€ Amazon card). They were:

- Rubén Padial and M.C. Pardo, from Universidad de Granada, Spain.

- Víctor M. Bautista, Amadeo de Gracia Herranz, and Samuel López Asunción from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain.
