Title: Capacitive to Digital Converters and its Applications
Abstract
Capacitive to digital converters are used nowadays in a broad range of applications going from industrial to consumer. This presentation will cover the different specifications, techniques, and architectures employed on this type of converters.
Biography
Enrique Company Bosch received a BE degree in electronic engineering from Polytechnic University of Valencia in 2000. He joined ADI in 2000 and since then have been working on Sigma-Delta ADCs, High Accurate Temperature Sensors, Haptic controllers and Capacitive-to-digital Converters. He is based in Valencia.

Title: Towards an ultra low power photoplethysmography
Abstract
Photoplethysmography (PPG) is a common technique in healthcare. We will explain how it works and review some techniques to reduce power consumption.
Biography
Javier Calpe Maravilla received his B.Sc. in 1989 and his Ph.D. degree in 1993 in Physics from the Universitat de Valencia (Spain) in the area of biomedical signal processing. He currently teaches part time in the UV. Javier is the Development Center Manager at the Analog Devices Inc. site located in Valencia employing more than 75 engineers.
